YLAMAA GEM SHOW<\/strong> is once again a stunning showcase with worldwide gems, rocks and jewelery. For this reason, the Ylamaa Gem Show is perhaps the most famous event in the world from our country. Standard themes include gems, minerals, meteorites and fossils from around the world. Dozens of exhibitors will present each other in addition to each other\u2019s most stunning rock and jewelry, as well as other unique everyday objects and ornaments and products made of stone. As a delight of children, the show once again has a sandbox of treasures with genuine gemstones to pick up home. TREASURES OF THE GEM MUSEUM<\/strong> The Ylamaa Gem Museum is a real treasure trove of gems and other natural stones. The beautiful natural stone floor is part of the museum\u2019s exhibition, where you can explore the world of gemstones. In the showcases of our museum, you will see special themes adapted for each summer. The highlight is the versatile special exhibition of the spectrolite of our national gemstone under the guidance of an expert. Once again, there is more excitement for children, such as finding authentic treasures of precious and gemstones in the sandbox, which have gained popularity in time.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GEM HUNTING TOURS <\/strong>1.6.-30.9.2025. Visit us to pick up your own spectrolite. We are guiding you or your group’ to a amazing Spectrolite gem hunting to the Ylamaa Gem Quarry, where you can pick up your own and authentic spectrolite gemstone in beautiful colors. On request, we arrange gemstone tours and quarry visits cheaply for individuals, families and groups of different sizes. Also you can visit, for example, a famous Salpa Finnish defense line where the spectrolite was found. For daily direct visits art the spectrolite quarry, you can join Spectrolite Gem Hunting Tour at 12:30 pm without prior booking.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
